I'm so sorry for the delay but I completely forgot to do a Midwest Fashion Week recap So here go nothing.
I went to 4 different events. !
Event 1:
March 18th, 2014 - Runway Hair
Runway Hair: Getting to the Root of Beautiful Hair through Information, Personalization, and Transformation. In the world of fashion, hair makes its own statement. The right hair style can transform your look. Cutting, coloring, bobs and weaves – all of these can change the way you feel about yourself and alter the way others perceive you. Hair can be political, cultural, fashionable, but most of all, it’s personal. Dr. Crystal Porter is a hair scientist and owner of Mane Insights, a company that gives tailored hair care advice, from a scientific perspective, to those who want more beautiful, manageable and healthy hair.
To this event I wore a pair of Gap Jeans, a vintage button down, and some black boots. This look was very causal yet very cute.
Event 2 : March 19th (MDG Salon)
This was a networking event. Everyone ate food, checked out all of the cool vendors, enjoyed great music by Myah Evans, and watched a mini fashion show.
To this event I wore a cool design button down, Gap Jeans, and Cobalt blue wedges.
March 20th, The fashion show hosted by Rashia Whitlock (@Dashing_Rae)

To this event I wore a white and black dress with a floral print shirt over and black and black wedges.
March 21st, A Fashion Show hosted by Fred Duncan.
